I generated a square tone with audacity and applied a few effects to it, mostly wahwah i think, and faded in and out. If you repeat it, it makes a very believable sound for an old video game machine.

Using my recently purchased zoom h4n, i recorded the birds from my window early afternoon in belfast using the standard mic's on the recorded. A bit short, but i hope you get some use out of it :).

Then i walked past it and sat down for the majority of the recording where you can hear the second construction site that is about a short-block away and that's where all the hammering is coming from. Six weeks later all my money and passport was stolen while in crete and i made my way home via the british consulate in athens.
